Nicholas Martin will be leaving the Williamstown Theatre Festival at the end of next season.

Nicholas Martin, 71, the director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival since 2008, will leave at the end of the upcoming season. His three-year tenure will barely be longer than that of his predecessor, Roger Rees. According to a statement issued by a WTF spokesman, Martin’s many outside commitments have made him too busy to continue.
