I’d like to introduce New York Arts, the sister publication of The Berkshire Review, an International Journal for the Arts. Since its early months, the Berkshire Review has covered the incomparable work in the arts that is done, shown, and performed in New York City. Over the past few years, I have visited Paris, London, Munich, Rome, and other centers for the arts, and international arts events are very much a part of the Review’s agenda. Everybody knows that New York is one of the great cities for the arts, on a par with London, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam. These cities may equal New York, but none surpass it. I can see, as time goes on, that our writers and I are only going to be more active in the City, and I have decided to dedicate an independent site to New York. In the future all our coverage of the arts in New York will appear in New York Arts, which will be virtually based in the City, working in parallel with the other publications that carry the City in their names. We will bring the same expertise and fullness we have pursued in the Berkshire Review to this new online magazine.
You’ll find everything New York on New York Arts. Other coverage outside the Berkshires, in the US and abroad, will remain on the Berkshire Review. most articles published in New York Arts will be available within the Berkshire Review through an RSS feed.
